Porto Rotondo, the most unknown paradise in Sardinia

And we all return to the search for the most unknown beaches, the most authentic, the most idyllic beach club to see the sunset, the restaurant where to enjoy good food, where to go with friends to have an aperitif, where to go to spend a romantic evening …
Personally, I have my list of favourite places to make an almost compulsory visit every summer.
And one of those places is in the wonderful island of Sardinia, in the heart of the Costa Smeralda, with a name that tells you everything ¨Porto Rotondo¨(Round Port), yes it is really a round place where to spend a few days of holidays.
Costa Esmeralda
Located in the northwest of the island, this coast is the sum of coves, white sand beaches, crystalline waters formed by the famous Porto Cervo -known for the meeting point of the most international Jet Set-, Canniggione and Baja Sardinia.
Porto Rotondo grows every year with very good harmony and a non-invasive tourist rhythm. Becoming a meeting point of the Italian high society. People from Rome, Milan, Turin… all pass through there sometime.
A place whose centre, is its square with local cobblestones, narrow streets -those you imagine when you think of an Italian island- with authentic Mediterranean decoration, popular bars, some trends of Rome and Milan that have opened also there, adapting to the place.
Restaurants where to eat with product of excellent quality, exclusive shops with a great offer of unique products, that have nothing to envy to the very well know in Capri or Portofino.
