# Talking
1- CATALA ROIG. Pure Mallorcan craftsmanship. Sustainability is beginning to be a choice, rather than a fashion. Have you noticed a special interest in craftsmanship and the choice of products like yours?
Yes, in recent years, both interest and demand for the product have increased exponentially, at times almost to saturation point. This concept is a little far from my philosophy. Now, part of the work is knowing how to manage this new scenario.
2- CREATIVITY. How have you kept it active in this confinement, and what has come out of it, some new design, an idea…
Having the studio attached to the house, I have been able to continue working, even more quietly than usual. Mainly, it has helped me to redefine where I want to focus my work.

3- VISITS. When you receive visits from people, what attracts their attention the most?
What attracts them most is the environment, the study itself, and the authenticity of the process from beginning to end.
4- SALES. We have seen that you work with many restaurants, but where can the general public find you and how can they acquire your pieces?
I like to deal closely with the person interested in my work, so they can purchase my ceramics at the studio, always at agreed times so I can focus on the visit.
5- DESIGNS. Are there any new designs you’re working on right now that you can tell us about?
At this moment I am redefining my work as a constant process of improvement of my ceramics.
6- CATALA ROIG TOP. What basics do you recommend to people?
A bowl, a plate… in short, a piece that will enhance your day-to-day life.
