On the top floor of this characteristic building, known by many as ¨El Sky Roof of Portals¨ for its excellent terrace lounge for summer nights and not only (during the low season, is filled with local people), always entertaining the space, the best DJ of the island with music and parties to theme 70´s, 80´s, 90´s, 90´s.
On Saturday mornings there are activities for healthy users: with morning yoga class and subsequent detox brunch at a special price of 20 Euros.
Hidden Concierge Recommendation
We knew this space for its excellent panoramic views to watch the sunset, have a post-dinner drink and even improvise the afterwork and how could it not be otherwise, also, for being the ideal place to dance outdoors, a couple of songs before returning home.
The Brunch Adventure
If you have the idea of going to enjoy a delicious brunch in a special enclave: like outside the center, but not too far from the city. The choice is reduced to four-five sites, of which, comes the difficult time that if you intend to book the same day, the ease of booking reduces the list to three sites.
Among them, only two were, attentive and friendly giving ease to the customer to book. Of these, the one chosen was OD Port Portals.
Tasting Brunch
A delicious menu, very well presented and explained that offer every day, in a wide access schedule from 12.00 pm to 16.00 pm, offered on the terrace of the hotel, next to the swimming pool, or inside the bar-restaurant at 25 Euros per person (drinks included).
The menu is perfectly designed to appeal to all audiences.
It begins with an OD Green Juice accompanied by a marinated Mallorcan cheese board, crystal bread and homemade jams (we give faith).
Then a rich orange juice along with the dish OD Smash (a basket of breads with different and interesting selection of butters along with pâtés, creamy and pastries ranging from spinach puff pastry, butter croissant, a mini pain au chocolat …).
Once finished the ¨breakfast¨ move on, savoring a delicious pear sorbet, to the main course.
For the choice of the main course, you can choose from the following options. A Selection of eggs served with seed bread and biosaludables: Benedictine with bacon and hollandaise sauce, Florentine with spinach and hollandaise sauce, Roto with foie or black pudding, Tosta with avocado, Tosta with prawns and green asparagus or Plato de camaiot with potato and peas.
The main course can be accompanied by a glass of wine from the house – they offer wines from the winery of the well-known oenologist Pablo Ossorio, ¨Quinta from aves¨, wines with recognisable tastes for all audiences -, beer or cava.
Our choice for the main course was eggs with foie gras, a classic that surprised us positively and that did not leave us indifferent and the toast of prawns and green asparagus. The first dish to be a classic, surprised us positively and did not leave us indifferent. If we go back, we’d probably choose the same option.
And in the case of the second dish, it was presented with a cooking to the perfect point for asparagus and prawns with a simple and attractive emplate.
